Minor bug fix - good news for all of you Tumbleloggers who tried to create a book from a blog with maaaaany items. You probably noticed your items weren’t downloaded in chronological order. Well, that problem has just been fixed! If you create a new project, all will be downloaded as should! 😊
Quick update: okay, another new blog book creating feature! You can find it under the extra option tab in your blogbook project menu.
The new option is at the top of the list: we made the display of your blog title on the book front cover optional. As it turns out, many of you give your blog a crazy name that you don’t want on your cover!
Well, and crazy are we, for we confirm to your craziness and so have added this new feature for you ;-)

Okay, so after quiet a lot of you asked us to bring back our minimal themes… your wish is our command!

P.S. Yes, all our book themes are named after songs that correspond to their color. Pretty fun way of naming themes if I may say so myself. ;-)

Because our website and book editing process is brand new, we will let the world next week and will start out all quiet for the next few days. There might turn up some small bugs/teething troubles, you know ;-)
For this, we have integrated a nice little feedback form that you can use when working on your book. Use it in case you have a question or tip concerning the process of creating your blog book - and we will fix it for you and help you create the perfect end result!

Friends, here’s a minor note on a major subject for many blog book makers: our service has been down for two months now - but we will be back with a vengeance very soon (really, no more than 2-3 weeks).
The reason for our downtime? I’ll explain with the anecdote of my favorite writer, Jack Kerouac, who - when in the navy - went to see the ship doctor for something against his headache, only to hear that he had Schizophrenia! He didn’t see that one coming! :-)
Well, I don’t have Schizophrenia (I know some close friends beg to differ ;-) ), but two months ago I set out to fix some minor website bugs only to find out we patched our website so many times on the fly that we had to restructure it from the ground in order to make it produce the best blog books on the web - of course: with love, from us to you.
So the big work is almost ready and boy - you all will be amazed at the improvements we made.
Please, hold on for a few weeks until we’re ready. We apologize for this unplanned ‘going down and return healthier than ever’ phoenix dance! Thank you very much for your understanding and patience!

Oh my, soon the snow will start falling, just one month till the year is over. That’s pretty quick. A lot happened and most of it will unfortunately be forgotten “I should reallly start writing things down,” I caught myself thinking. “so that I can go back and actually live these experiences”.
